Cusco Power Brace Floor Center
MODEL # CUS 692 492 C
Confirmed fitment for Subaru XV Crosstrek, adds more stiffness than strut braces

Pardon the pictures of the scrapes, I take my Subaru XV Crosstrek off-road so they also double as a transmission guard from debris and off-road use while stiffening the unibody. Great product, not-so-great installation. The instructions are in Japanese, so downloading/opening the English instructions from Cusco USA will be necessary. You may need a hex bit, medium or large torque wrench, as well as a jack to keep the transmission assembly from moving when removing the transmission cross member bolts. I torqued the transmission cross member bolts to OEM specifications with a hex bit. After installation, I had my brothers do a blind drive test (they had no idea the part was installed). They felt an improvement with the chassis over just the Cusco strut tower braces. Installing the other Cusco chassis braces will further liven up your Subaru Impreza incl. WRX (GE, GH, GR, GV; GJ, GP chassis) and/or your Subaru XV Crosstrek (GP chassis).

I installed this along with many of the other Cusco braces. There is a noticeable difference in entering and existing hard corners, and while it is not the most cost effective bracing that Cusco makes (the front power brace and Type 1 that I installed on my car are incredible!), it is a worthwhile upgrade for anyone serious about getting their Subie to handle more predictably!
