-This is actually the second catch can I have installed on my 14 WRX. -The first is connected to the crank case vent and this one is being used on the valve covers. -They do a great job of collecting any oil/gas/water that is moving through the system. -Its a plus that the "sludge" is not being returned to the oil. I have noticed some systems recycle the nasty crap back through into the oil filler (stupid idea). -The pictures attached are from around a month of winter driving. -If you have a COBB air box (Subaru), you can just mount these cans neatly to the side so that nothing else will need to be modified on the car. -Hope this review helps someone that's looking to invest.

When I did my TGV deletes is when I saw how seriously I needed AOS. The damage was burnt-on-brownies on the intake ports of the heads. I relocated my drive-by-cable cruise control and used the remaining space and reworked one of the left over brackets . I did a dual set-up, one for the valve covers and one for the crank case. I kept the original plumbing configuration and just put the catch cans in series. The car is catless and stunk really bad. I was not blowing blue smoke out the exhaust but the car is now tolerable and runs much better. Then I waited way too long to empty them, 80 days and 1330 miles later. When I did empty them, the cans were full of precipitation and the baffle plate up top was full of oily foam. Now I know better and I'm going to empty them every 200-300 miles and take them apart and clean them periodically. Thank you Mishimoto for the low cost and effective solution to a real problem. 5 of 5 stars.

Great quality. Happy with it so far. It's a universal part so the "ease of install" box below doesn't really apply. I would only change the hose fitting layout. Rather they were stacked or parallel vs. at an angle. That causes some fitment restrictions.

i have been running this thing for about 10 000 Km. Few weeks back I was I had to do some servicing on the car I noticed a very light film of oil in intrrcooler and intake. I noticed the out let hose to the intake had oil in it. So I replaced the outlet hose with a clear hose, and I noticed there is always a little puddling oil on the outlet hose so it's not doing a superb job of catching all the oil. I wouldn't say its a bad product but it is definitely not 100% effective.
