Features & Product Details
RallySport Direct proudly carries exclusive performance exhaust options brought to you by Tomei.
Can't decide if you want to hang this on your living room wall or on your STI? We get it, and we certainly won't argue with your choice. This is Tomei's Expreme Ti Titanium Cat-Back Exhaust System. Featuring full titanium construction, this exhaust system is very lightweight, and it combines a larger piping diameter with smooth bends which also feature JDM-inspired pie cuts. The result is more horsepower and torque, a good amount in weight savings, all while producing a race-inspired exhaust note. From behind, fellow enthusiasts can spot titanium with the 115mm single-exit tip. A great investment for your Subaru as it is an exclusive part that will add style, value, and performance.

As I mentioned in the title, this is one of the best catback's out there. The installation was fine as long as you get new hangers and an adapter which you should pick up anyways. Coming from an SPT factory catback to this was a huge difference in sound. This is true Titanium, so the sound output will surprise you and not annoy you with drone as it does have a resonator. If you consider going with a single exit and don't pick this you are making a mistake!! Thanks, Rallysport!
I was very impressed with the build quality and ease of install. There were no surprises putting this on my STi hatchback. It is loud though. The single can style isn't for me; I bought this for the weight savings. The 30 lbs savings over the SPT exhaust may not be worth it depending on your tolerance for sound. I'll likely swap the two exhaust out between competitions.
Well defined audible exhaust tone, feather weight titanium CB for true performance...TOMEI is the way !!
We all know why you bought this exhaust. It was one of three reasons. 1. Bang 2. Pop 3. Stututututu Yes it does all 3 and the build quality is impeccable. If you like the Invidia but can afford to shell out the extra cash for this, do it with 0 hesitation.
With limited support/knowledge out there on the crosstrek model. I took a risk and tried this exhaust on my car. It bolted on with no issues. There is a doughnut gasket on the crosstrek downpipe... you can either leave it and simply bolt on the Tomei pipe or remove the doughnut gasket and utilize the included flat gasket. I left the doughnut gasket in place and bolted the pipe as is. Everything fits fine but I did have an issue with the rear hanger as it was not designed for the crosstrek but the issue was resolved with Walker 35149 Exhaust Hanger. Once the pipe was installed. I did have to trim the rear bumper to clear the muffler tip. Overall... this exhaust was totally worth it. It sounds AMAZING!!!!. I get the rumble and the random popping sound when I shift gears. The exhaust is also silent when cruising at a constant speed/rpm. Cold start up in the morning is very loud but I have not tried the baffle to see the differences.

Q: Fitment Tomei Expreme Ti 2 years ago
I have a Cobb 3” Catted DP with this fit or do I need adapters

A: Because this exhaust tapers to 2.5" at the downpipe connection, to work with an OEM downpipe, you would need a a 3" downpipe to OEM 2.5" cat back adapter.

Q: Tomei Japan or Tomei USA? Breck2 years ago
Will my Tomei Expreme Ti come from Tomei Japan or Tomei USA? I've heard about ties cut between the two, will the quality be the same?

A: Any item that begins with a T, in this case, TB6090-SB02B, is from Tomei Powered USA Inc, and is no longer affiliated with Tomei Powered Inc, of Japan. This will be a Tomei USA part. It will be the same quality of the past Tomei Powered USA parts.

Q: Tomei extreme ti cat back exhaust Tborealo2 years ago
Hey I have a 2013 Subaru wrx hatchback with a Cobb 3” exhaust on it already. Am I gonna need any gaskets or an adapter for my stock downpipe ? Or does the exhaust system come with gaskets?

A: You would need an adapter for bolting a 3" catback to the stock downpipe, if you have one already, you'll be ready for install. If your Cobb exhaust tapers down to a 2.5" inlet to match the downpipe, you will need an adapter.

Q: Shipping Mickey228 2 years ago
Ordered my exhaust over a month ago. I understand it ships directly from the manufacturer but I’ve seen you advertise “ships within two days, I’ve seen up to 20 days and now 9 days. However it’s been a over 30 for me and when I called customer service they said it’s be late December before I received it. Am I being lied to, or are future purchasers being lied to?

A: No one is being lied to, our system attempts to make an estimate on when parts will arrive. This year has been difficult for manufacturing, production lines were shut down, raw materials were no longer available for sourcing. The estimated times are just that, estimates. We do our best to update orders, and our customer service team can absolutely look up the estimated dates of orders, but Tomei's production has been hit especially hard.
