HKS has developed the perfect cat back exhaust system for those of you who don’t exactly want an aggressive tone, but can appreciate improvements in exhaust performance and style.
This is the HKS Silent Hi-Power exhaust system that has been designed with implemented resonators to hinder aggressive sound tones that are inherent with most aftermarket exhaust systems.
The HKS Silent Hi-Power Exhaust comes with everything needed to be ready for installation. This includes both hardware, as well as gaskets. The exhaust hangers have been welded in an OEM location on the mufflers and piping.
Additionally this exhaust system has been fabricated from 304 stainless steel to be weather resistant, and to provide users with years of performance.

I put this exhaust on my 2008 legacy 3.0r. Some minor modifications to the front y-pip flange had to be done, Slight rotation. Something else to note, the size of the pipe where it meets the downpipe/front y-pipe is HUGE. this system is not designed to be put on an all stock car. This is designed for power builds. However, Fitment issues aside from putting this on a car it wasn't designed for, The sound quality is fantastic. The tone is a nice low hum, As you open the throttle it does get louder. Definitely louder than stock exhaust but one of the quieter aftermarket systems. The 3.0r is an H6 so its naturally loud,. I am extremely pleased with the sound quality. It took about 300 miles to "Break in" and get a bit louder. The video below is from the night I put it on. Chassis fitment was also minty fresh (See picture) no modifications were done for fitment. The tips are also quite large, (see picture) thats a full sized bic lighter. Looks amazing on the 4th gen legacy, I must admit. Overall, I would give this system an 9/10. The only reason it doesn't get a 10/10 is there is no HKS stamp on the muffler (Disappointed in that) and the size of the front flange is not noted. I doubt this would bolt straight up to an LGT based on the size of that flange. If you do buy this, I would bring it to a shop to be installed just in case. Overall quality is also fantastic, I live in New England USA (NH) so salty roads that eat metal are all too common, There is absolutely no surface rust so far (Been through 3 storms so far) and cleans with just a damp towel.
