COBB Tuning SS 3in Cat-Back Exhaust System
Subaru STI 2015+
Features & Product Details
COBB Tuning has released their 3" Stainless Steel Exhaust System to improve the power and performance of your vehicle, but to also improve the exhaust note under idle, and acceleration. Your factory exhaust system is functional and gets the job done, but you want some excitement in your life. COBB's 3" Cat-Back Stainless Steel Exhaust System has been designed with smoother bends to limit exhaust turbulence under acceleration. When combined with larger diameter piping, you will see improvements in horsepower, torque, and improvements in throttle response with reduced turbo lag.
This exhaust system has been fabricated from 304 stainless steel, and has been TIG welded for additional strength. The exhaust routes through both 2.5" and 3" piping where it exits through quad 3.5" double wall tips. New gaskets, as well as hardware will be included to make this exhaust system ready for installation.

Decided to go this route as I didnt want my 2015 STi to be too loud. I have a 2006 WRX that's header back full catless to make lots of noise with lol. Install: Overall this was really smooth, I was very impressed to see Cobb included the adapter necessary if you are running a stock DP. Quality: This is a Cobb product and you can expect Cobb quality in all their parts. The exhaust is very well made so much so my buddies and I were in envy with the welds. Hardware was all high quality as well. Sound: So my objective here was to get that low rumble at low RPM that we all love but I wanted the car to also scream when I put it down. This exhaust does exactly that! The idle rumble is low and exactly what us Subaru enthusiast are looking for. When the throttle goes down hard she screams and sounds really good. Its not an ear splitting scream but enough for you to know the car is responding to your inputs. I am not noticing any drone on the highway or around town at all which is nice too. Overall: I am very happy with this purchase, being one of the more expensive exhausts you definitely get what you pay for. The exhaust looks, sounds and feels like the Cobb quality we have all come to love.

Q: Gaskets Included in Kit ebnash1 year agoYour product pictures show 4 gaskets. One of them looks to be a reducer for the Downpipe to Catback. Cobb’s part list only shows 3 gaskets. Can you confirm I will receive all 4 shown?

A: The photo showing the gaskets is only 3 gaskets and an adapter, not actually 4 gaskets. The kit should come with everything needed to install.Cody
