Cosworth has been engineering camshafts for nearly 50 years. That coupled with years of innovative multi valve cylinder head design ensures Cosworth's camshaft designs are the most efficient in providing maximum usable power across the widest power band. Each cam is ground from a new billet and finished using the same procedures they use in their extreme level race engines. Cosworth cams are profiled to increase boost response thereby increasing engine torque and power and are fully compatible with their CNC Ported Big Valve Cylinder Heads. These cams are also compatible with the JDM Dual AVCS EJ207 heads. Sold in a matched set of four camshafts.

    i drive 2010 sti hatchback 500hp , is there is any thing i should change after the cams?

    • A: In addition to installing cams we recommend upgrading the valvetrain. Valves, Retainers, Seals, as well as Headstuds would be beneficial.

    • A: The turbo will play a large role in the power given by a cam upgrade. You can expect to see 5-10% gains of peak top end power when going with larger than stock cams.

    how the car behaves in Low RPMs like when you are in neutral on a red light.Does the RPMs still oscillate between 600 and 900 or they increase?

    • A: With these cams, the lower RPM's are going to be very rough on idle. You will have a lot of oscillating and the car may feel as if it is about to die with stop and go traffic.

    Hello RSD Team, I am looking to rebuild my engine. The other parts are pistons, connecting rods, oil pump, bearings, studs, valves and valve springs. The turbo will be stock and additional mods will be downpipe, EL headers, catback and intake. The target is 400whp. I would like to know if - 1. Replacing the cams will be added benefit based on the above setup? 2. If the stock cams will suffice the requirement? 3. What is the benefit of these cams on stock motor? 4. What is the benefit of these cams on the above built motors? Thanks guys!

    • A: These cams are most beneficial for larger than stock turbos, which can use the extra air flow, and these cams will outflow the stock turbo. You would still gain more peak power with these cams and the stock turbo, but less aggressive or stock cams would be preferred for a broader power band, especially in the low to mid RPMs. Aftermarket cams will increase intake and exhaust flow, which increases power on stock and built engines, but you will shift your power band to the higher RPMs.

    • A: Intake- 221° duration at .050 lift. Exhaust- 224.5° duration at .050 lift.
