Subaru OEM Cabin Filter - Subaru Models (inc. 2008+ STI / 2008-2014 WRX)
Manufacturer Part # 72880FG000
This is the Subaru OEM Cabin Filter. These are often overlooked when performing maintenance. But they should be replaced on schedule to promote fresh cabin air, and to make sure your heating/AC isn't working harder because of a clogged filter.
This is an OEM part to keep your vehicle within OEM spec.

Pretty easy to install. I have tried knock-off brand and overall this OEM version was better quality plastic and did not crack not like the last one.

Great OEM replacement. It is very easy to install and makes a huge difference. If you have yet to change this you'll ask yourself why you didn't a long time ago!

Q: What type of filter is this? subimon 4 years agoAnswer
I understand its OEM Cabin filter, but is the OEM filter HQRP Activated Charcoal? Or does it just use paper filtration?
A: This is the only cabin filter that Subaru makes for the cars listed and Subaru does not specify if it is HQRP Activated Charcoal. The filter material is not paper, but Subaru does not publish what the material is.
