This kit will include larger adjustable front and rear sway bars which will reduce body roll or sway which will spread the lateral loads evenly across the tires to improve high-speed cornering grip, and performance.

A: Lateral links are not necessarily required for that, but yes, both would work together on your 04 FXT.
