    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: 272 cams   Subaru2 years ago

Do I need any head work. I already have upgrade valves, springs, retainers.
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You should not need any head work done for these, especially since you have upgraded valves, springs, and retainers already.

    • Q: Adjustable cam gears?  Ewan3 years ago

I’m aware that having adjustable cam gears would be beneficial. But do I really need them to run these cams? Or can I just use the oem cam gears without any (mechanical) problem?
    • Q: EJ205 S20 Cylinder Heads  Bokusaresa4 years ago

Will these work on the EJ205 S20 cylinder heads. In the comments I only saw that fitment could only be confirmed for the EJ207 and EJ257, yet it lists that these would fit my 2004 WRX.
    • Q: drop in or adjustment   raashscimeca624197 years ago

Do any adjustments need to be made to the heads in order to use these or will they work on the head as a direct drop in . No shims required?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  these are designed as a direct drop in requiring a tune, although valve springs would be recommended.

A:  You will need to adjust the shims (or lifter buckets) with installation of any new set of cams, even if you put new factory cams in your engine. The ones in your car are adjusted to the cams that came from the factory.
