  • Q: Pads  RecklessTexas1 year ago

What brake pads do you recommend with these rotors? Should I use the DBA500 pads?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  hello, it all depends on what you are using the vehicle for. The SP500 pads are a great choice for daily driving. If you are looking for a pad with a better bite or you are a more aggressive driver, we would recommend the XP650 pads. thank you for your interest in our pads and rotors.

  • Q: DBA 4000 t slotted rotors pair front  TonyKeoWRX141 year ago

I received my order. (Very fast thank you!) my question is what is the left or right side? The part number appear to be the same and the boxes aren’t marked like my powerslot slotted rears are.

A:  I did some serious digging because Rotora stopped manufacturing brake discs for my car. The size for fitment is 330mm x 30 mm which I believe is what the size of these rotors are. In case anyone else buys aftermarket Rotora 4 forged calipers

  • Q: Rotors are making a rubbing metal on metal sound?   joshua_koors630894 years ago

So I bought the DBA front rotors and I've noticed a lot of squeeking and metal on metal during travel. It's very annoying and embarrassing. I'm using generic duralast brake pads should I be using a specific type of brake pad? Or is my rotors just not the right size or wrong ones? Please help!

A:  Joshua- Typically, noise and dust issues come from the pad, not the rotor. I would suggest you try a higher quality brake pad to see if that helps resolve the issue. You have to think of the brakes as a system, and while you bought an above average quality rotor, you have paired it with a sub-par pad which lowers the performance potential and quality of the whole brake system, since the parts have to work together to slow the car. The team at rallysport can point you toward a good pad for your use. We would just suggest that you make sure to do a complete bed-in process when switching to new pads. The best process will be dictated by your pad manufacturer and should be explained one the box or in the instructions. I hope this helps.

Just got these in and have yet to order pads. I was curious as to what goes best with these for daily driving? I'm more then likely going ceramic, just wanted to double check.

A:  I have found that Stop Tech Street Performance is a great option for cars used for Daily Driving. Please use the vehicle filter, and it will list the confirmed fitment pads for your car

  • Q: Caliper fitment  gabrieldasilva6 years ago

Does these rotors fit the oem caliper from a 11/12 WRX Hatchback?
  • Q: does it fit on 06-07 WRX with STI brembo callipers?  Vitor C F Viveiros6 years ago

Hi there. i was wondering if these would fit on my 2006-07 WRX which has brembo callipers from STI version fitted to it?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These rotors are not correct for the Brembo calipers and you will need dual drilled STI front rotors for your WRX that has STI brakes.

  • Q: Replacement  gs.clifton7 years ago

Can these also be a replacement fot the rear rotors? If not why? Are their any that would work as a replacement?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These rotors can only be used on the front. They do not have an machined area for the parking brake and they are physically too large to fit with the rear calipers.
