Look good, work good. Paired with the same series rotors on the front and Hawk HPS pads, these stop better than the stock rotors and pads. They've held up nicely on a few long spirited drives on mountain roads.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Can these rotors be turned?  cmullenski3 years ago

One reason I'm looking for new rotors is because the Brembos that came on my 12 STI cannot be turned when they're servicing them. Can these?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These rotors can be turned/machined if needed.

A:  As previously mentioned, yes, DBA rotors can be resurfaced. However, many of the typical places that will turn rotors won't turn slotted rotors since it requires a different process. The better method is to have them machined, rather than turned. Its just safer for the equipment, and better for the rotor. • Q: Is this rotor double drilled?  acejunpak5 years ago

I swapped 2008 wrx sti rotor and caliper to my fr-s. Fr-s uses PCD 100 and STI rotor as 114.3 holes. So I drilled the rotor as pad 100 holes. If it has dual holes it will perfectly fit to my fr-s.
      • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This rotor is dual drilled for 5x100 and 5x114.3. We cannot guarantee fitment on the BRZ or FR-S with STI brakes because the parking brake diameter may not be the same.

    • Q: T2 VS T3  austincharrison5 years ago

What are the differences between the two products and how much of a performance difference will I see between them?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  T-2 is the DBA Street performance disc, with patent Kangaroo Paw vent design, standard cast iron material, suitable for street use. T-3 (4000 Series) is the DBA High Carbon cast material, heat treated for strength and longer lasting than Street series. Has DBA Kangaroo Paw vent design, and heat changing temperature paint to monitor the temperature your rotors get to. 4000 Series will perform in street and performance applications that Street series. By how much?? So may variables involved that it is hard to determine. For example, pads used, conditions, suspension modifications and driver habits. Hope this helps.

A:  The T3 is a new design of the slots on the rotor from DBA. Same internal construction and same material, just different pattern on the exterior to eliminate the need for side specific rotors is the largest difference.
