Description

If you’re looking for an exceptional, yet economic rear brake pad replacement, then you will be pleased with StopTech’s Posi-Quiet Semi-Metallic brake pads. These have been fabricated to exceed the demands of OEM quality, to offer the consumer a brake pad they can trust.

These brake pads are crafted to produce less noise, as well as less dust.  They are produced through a positive molding process which is also utilized by original equipment suppliers. This process involves extreme pressure to compress the friction material and bond it to the backing plate. This process ensures for consistent brake pad wear throughout the life of the brake pad.

The StopTech Posi-Quiet pads will come provided with their own anti vibration shims, which will make for a ready installation the next time you replace your brake pads.

Loud
Vaughn 3 months ago
These are useless. They claim to be quiet however they are just as loud and squealy as the Stoptech autocross pads. Do not buy these if you value your ears.

I would like to post a follow up comment. As it turns out, the shop that installed these, threw away my factory Brembo brake pad shims. Without the shims, these brake pads are awful. I'm not talking about a little scrape, these things SCREAM like a 12 year old school girl at a pop concert. Fast-forward to yesterday. I ordered new OEM shims & installed them on the back of these pads. Now everything is silent under braking. Please make sure to re-use your factory silver Brembo brake pad shims otherwise these will be extremely noisy.

Awesome Buy

Bought these brakes for my 2005 STI, they've been on for about a week now and there awesome. They don't squeak and for a daily driver there perfect. They took me and my buddy about an hour from the time we jacked the car up to the time we drove it, super easy install. Highly recommend if you don't need a crazy brake pad.

Good but not great

There was just something about these that felt sorta bleh. But I can't put a finger on it. I used these for testing between the StopTech streetpads for the ongoing squeaking I was getting (not from these pads). These were nice and silent and felt okay, just not an upgrade as far as I would be concerned.

  • Q: Another question...  santos.celena15785 4 years ago

    Answer

Do these need to be drilled rotors or can I use my stock rotors on my 2011 Sti

    • A: These pads will work with any type of rotor finish, and will be perfectly fine on the stock rotors.

  • Q: Making noise..  santos.celena15785 4 years ago

    Answer

I put these brake pads on my 2011 Sti.. They are making a light squeeking noise when coming to a complete stop. Is this normal or should I take a better look at the pads. From the comments of how quite they are I feel like I may have done something wrong

    • A: These are considered to be a low dust, low noise pad. I first recommend ensuring there is adequate grease on the back of the pad as I see that being the most common issue. Thank you.

  • Q: Noise  onedumbum24 5 years ago

    Answer

Do these brakes produce the clunking noise that some aftermarket brake pads do? I'm not sure what pads are on my 07 STi currently, but they do make the noise caused from the pads not fitting perfectly.

    • A: These brake pads are confirmed to fit on the 07 STi. These are very low dust and low noise similar to the stock pads.

    • A: These brake pads should not produce any sort of clunking sound. They should function as smoothly as the stock pads. Thanks

  • Q: Will these fit?  joey_bisson60665 6 years ago

    Answer

hi, i recently purchased these for my 2010 sti, but i am worried. My dealer said their are four different serial numbers for the rear brakes and not all brake pads fit, my question is will they fit?

    • A: They should fit with no issue at all, all of the Subaru, Mitsubishi, and Nissan Brembo's will use the same pad, so I don't see any reason these would not fit, and should just drop right in for you. Thanks.
