Are these the replacement pads that will fit the ST-40 BBK for a 2014 WRX? Thanks! Blake
  • Q: Whats the noise level?  Jonathan Vazquez3 years ago

I plan on buying new brake pads for both the front and back of my car. The current brake pads i have arent done just yet but the squeak so loud and horrible! I want to know what the squeak noise level are? PS: I live in Southern California (Near LA) if that matters to anyone. Also i dont do track so my main commute is simply street!

this break set up im looking at is for a gift just wanna make sure i get it correct... with breaks, arent the front ones more important... right?,, or is different for an AWD drive, becuae the rear pads are alot more? why is that

A:  On any car the front brakes will do the majority of the braking and the rear Stoptech Street Performance pads are less expensive than the fronts.

  • Q: 2011 Forester 2.5XT fitment  vthang735 years ago

Does this part fit 2011 Forester 2.5XT (SH)? Thanks.
  • Q: appropriate usage  DanTheMan6 years ago

How are these compared to the HPS pads in terms of rotor life, and pad life. As well as how well they work initially before really getting them warm. I need new pads for normal street driving and some mountain roads since i faded my stock pads last time in my 12 wrx. These are bit cheaper so if they perform just as well i will go with these. thanks.

A:  Having used both the StopTech seem to have a higher temperature range, but do dust more compared to the HPS. Also the StopTech seems to have a bit more aggressive initial bite on application. Overall they are similar to each other, but the StopTech Street Performance would be a little more aggressive from my personal experience.
