Can confirm these fit 2nd gen legacys (95-99). Had no issues putting them in on my 1998 wagon. Improved brake pedal feel for sure!

Significantly more racecar feel 3 years ago

I put these stainless steel brake lines on my 1995 Legacy (I assume they fit all 2nd gen Legacys) and after finding out I needed to switch my master cylinder, these brake lines actually stiffened up the pedal more than I would have thought. These really made me feel more confident when braking, although I hadn't changed anything else. I would definitely recommend these as they were easy to install, and made it feel so much better.

These are great especially for the mushy pedal the vehicle comes with. (Full review written for rear lines).

I installed both front and rear SS lines on my swapped 01 RS. overall brake feel and response is much better than that of stock rubber lines. The install wasnt overly hard but I had access to a lift at work which made the install quicker.

    • Q: Forester  snowdrifter6 years ago

Could these possibly work with the 98 Forester S?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  I don't believe these brake lines will work on your Forester because the Forester brake lines are slightly longer than the Impreza lines.

    • Q: 4 Pots  Boxercide7 years ago

Will these and the rear lines work with the Subaru 4/2 pots?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunate we are only able to confirm fitment with OEM calipers. People have used them before with other calipers, but as we have not tested this in house and the manufacture cant confirm we simply cant guarantee it.

A:  I believe they will as I replaced my 2 pot fronts with 4 pot calipers, and worked. no guarantee
