Features & Product Details

Whether if you have a dedicated track car that goes through frequent brake fluid flushes, or if you are servicing your daily driver, then you will be pleased with the Motul RBF600 Brake Fluid. This is a 100% synthetic fluid that is specifically designed to resist the high temperatures of actuated steel or carbon racing brakes and clutch systems.

This brake fluid has an elevated boiling point at 312°C/593°F which provides effective braking under extreme high-performance driving conditions. The wet boiling point of the RBF600 is 216°C/420°F which is superior to conventional brake fluids and provides an efficient braking system in the rain and will retard the apparition of vapor lock.

FMVSS 116 DOT 4 / SAE J 1703 / ISO 4925

can't really tell the difference between regular brake fluid in this because I haven't got the brakes hot enough yet I did all for StopTech brake lines before I did a full system flush between my Evo and STI we used just about 3 bottles just to be safe and so we have extra

Normal driving it works great. I bought three bottles just in case to do a full system flush. You only really need two bottles.

  • Q: Bleeding brakes  runjmc864 years ago

I have a 2013 WRX as a dd. I plan on getting ss brake lines and changing fluid. How often would I have to do a brake system flush? (No plans for track and occasional spirited driving)
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  In mild braking conditions you will want to change this brake fluid about once a year.

  • Q: Motul  EarvinL08295 years ago

What is the factory boiling point of the fluid compared to this?? After a little bit of beating on the car my clutch seem's as if its bubbling, seeing if this would be a fix.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It is difficult to confirm what your vehicle was filled with from the factory, but this Motul fluid has a dry boiling point of 593ºF and a wet boiling point of 420ºF.

Can I just top off my fluid with this or do I need to drain the system to replace with this?
  • Q: Does this work well as clutch fluid also?  travelguy2k5 years ago

2008 sti... going to be replacing the clutch soon stage 1 hd with streetlight flywheel. Would this be a good fluid to use? If yes, how many bottles are needed for the clutch by itself?
