I'll start by saying I've been a subby tech for a little over 10 years. I'm running the Tial 38mm gate with the GS 3 port ND hate the cha cha cha cha from the PWM signal. I love the sound of a manual but still wanted to utilise the factory ECU 's ability to add or pull boost based on elevation. You you have to spend. Little more scratch on the anti surge, but in my options worth it. Butter smooth boost responce, and sounds like a manual BC. As a bonus you hear the rumble from the screamer pipe. I am currently going to put one on 4 personal friends STI's. Well worth the money if you hate the cha cha cha PWM from the other 3 ports!!

Q: Power gain? Or just sound? Bradybell333 years agoI have a Cobb 3 port tuned. What power benefits will this give me over that? Any sort of numbers, or just a better curve? I know it will help eliminate boost shutter. Also, would this work on a Cobb ebcs map?

A: This would essentially perform the same as Cobb's and GrimmSpeed's EBCS. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm if the Cobb OTS Maps are compatible. As they are designed using Cobb's EBCS.Brady R @ RallySport Direct 3 years ago

A: This does not by itself increase power as that is dependent on the other engine modifications you have. However, if your tuner is detuning your map to minimize wastegate flutter with a standard 3 port boost control solenoid, you will see power and spool gains when it is retuned for the Anti-surge boost control solenoid.Company23 @ Company23 3 years ago
