RallySport Direct is your number one source for quality upgrades and enhancements brought to you by COBB TUNING.
This is the COBB 3-Port Boost Solenoid (BCS). This is an excellent upgrade for those looking for precise boost control that is easy to install and tune. This BCS will eliminate boost fluctuations and boost creep inherent in the OEM boost control system, providing stable and repeatable boost control to base the vehicle’s tune on. It is equally capable of providing this stable boost control at stock boost levels as well as extremely high boost levels associated with big-power builds.

Installed this with other mods on my Evo X to match the Stage 3 OTS requirements. Install as easy, just follow the instructions (1 bolt, and 3 hoses). But make sure you load the proper map or get a pro tune, as the instructions state. The OTS Stage 3 map specifies you must use this EBCS, but the instructions say not to use it, so it's a little confusing. I am using it with the stage 3 map, no major issues thus far, but will likely get a pro tune in the near future to be safe.
I have an accessport, but I was getting crazy boost spike with a stage 2 OTS map. I installed this along with the other parts needed to run a stage 3 map. No more boost spike! I'm at a solid 26 pounds right now!
Cobb BCS was easy to install and with custom tune an increase was achieved. Thanks again....

A: The power increase may not directly come from the solenoid itself but more so the tune that is necessary to properly run a Electronic Boost Control Solenoid.
