Turbosmart quality is still unmatched.

This is probably my 4th or 5th Turbosmart product and I will continue to keep purchasing them because the quality just does not stop impressing me. The machining and craftsmanship of this BOV make it feel more like a marvel of engineering rather than "just some car-part." It fits nicely on my OE TMIC and comes with hoses to simplify some of the routing. I have mine set to 50/50 and the sound at low RPM gear changes is quiet and discreet coming through my intake. However at high RPMs, the vent to atmosphere sound is crisp and notable without sounding obnoxious or immature.
Great quality but ran into some issues

I love this bov, it is capiable of holding 24psi easy, I just had a few questions, With a 2015 still the black piping on the intercooler is not allowing the bov to fit with the trumpet on, has anyone figured out a way around that? Also I have been having troubles removing the blanking plug once installed, is there a tool used to unscrew it?

I love this valve. Fit and finish is just like stock, able to hold much more boost and very high quality as well.

Bought this and thought it would be a good BOV for my STI. I was wrong, it's fairly soft sounding and my COBB short ram intake makes a higher spool and flutter sound than this BOV. I don't hear the BOV with it wide open over my COBB intake. Most likely I will be returning this product. Not worth the price it's listed as.

First off i would like to say i had fitment issues, i had piping that runs along the front of my intercooler that prevented the bov to fit with the horn shroud on. After i had it installed, i wasn't impressed with the sound at all. My stock bov was a lot louder, so i figured i had to adjust the harder or softer but with multiple adjustments it wasn't as good as my stock bov. Was deffinetly exspected a lot more out of this item.

I want to fully vent into the atmosphere, does anyone know what size the recirculating hose is so that I can get the correct size plug from Turbosmart?
A: The size of the vent hose depends on the year/model vehicle, we recommend measuring the ID of your vehicle's hose.

I just purchased a 2015 sti and I want a bov and I keep going back and forth between this one and a cobb. Is the turbo smart worth it?
A: I would not say that one BOV is better than the other and the choice will come down to personal preference. One advantage of this valve over Cobb is that it can be set to fully atmospheric.

Does this come set 50/50
A: Out of the box this unit is going to be setup for a hybrid valve, but it comes with the necessary parts to make it fully recirculating.

I just have a question on adjusting the tension of the spring. From the instruction it is said to start off at maximum soft position and at this position the indicator O-Ring should be completely covered by the edge of the cap I am not sure where to find this indicator O-Ring or what it looks like, I don't know if currently I'm at the maximum soft position or not, do you have a picture or anything I should watch out for?
A: It is the very skinny o-ring that you will see before the threads. the very think o-ring is the sealing o-ring. Not sure how to post a picture on here.
