  • Q: Dimensions  toxa 6665 months ago

Any chance to understand if it is bigger or the same size as OEM bypass? I have a 2008+ Forester with PW Verticooler installed and there is no room at all for any BOV that is bigger than OEM
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This will be slightly larger than the stock BOV, but we have found that the Kompact series will not have any clearance issues with the Process West Verticooler.

  • Q: Hose on bov  WAwrx5 months ago

I recently installed this bov on my 2011 wrx. The recirculating hose has to stretch and doesn't quite reach the end of the valve. The clamp is over the hose and the valve. Will this be an issue?
  • Q: Turbo flutter and backfire  Rberry14wrx6 months ago

I installed this on my 14 wrx, and I now have turbo flutter and backfiring. I checked all hoses and have good vacuum. I'm currently running a stage 2 protune with Cobb downpipe, at intake, Cobb ebcs, and fuel pump. Could I have received a faulty part?
    • 0 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  You most likely do not have the spring adjusted correctly. You will need to loosen the spring on the BOV until the flutter is no longer there.

  • Q: Will this help stop my overboost?  William Cheung2 years ago

Everytime I step on the gas I get this fluttering sound which I'm guess it's cause of overboost. Will this hold up to 20 PSI of boost?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It's hard to say for sure what noise you are experiencing without hearing it in person.. Typically flutter is a common noise on turbo setups and can be normal.

  • Q: Boost  Silverhatch2 years ago

Can this handle higher boost levels around 26 psi without issue? If not what would you recommend for a blouch 20gxt
  • Q: Spring rate  bpaverill083793 years ago

Anyone know what the spring rate on this valve is? I think I might have some issues with it being a little too firm, thanks.
  • Q: FITMENT  2008WrxSedan3 years ago

Will this work with my FMS FMIC set?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately, we do not offer FMS products and cannot confirm any type of fitment. But, if your setup utilizes the OEM style flange either on the intercooler or intercooler piping, this would work.

  • Q: TOP TUBE  jrodz_1989714484 years ago

I installed this BPV on my WRX 2011 it runs solid but im just concern with the top tube because where you insert the hose into is movable is that normal or can you tighten that to stop from moving? (Im talking about the top nipple above BPV where you insert one of the vaccum hose into)
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  There should be no cause for concern as the nipple portion does rotate freely. It is normal!

  • Q: Difference?   wes4 years ago

what is the difference between TBS TS-0203-1210 an the TBS TS-0203-1209 model? I just ordered this TBS TS-0203-1210 and I just noticed the different model # I thought they were the same
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is the newest design from Turbosmart specifically for Subaru models. The BOV outlet is at a slightly different angle than TBS TS-0203-1209 and either model will work.

A:  The TS-0203-1210 is for Subaru only. The description on this page is not quite correct. The TS-0203-1209 also fits MazdaSpeed three. The reason for the change is that we have found that Subaru assembly lines are not very consistent and some people had an issues with the re-circ hose connection using the 1209. This was addressed by re-orienting the re-circ hose on the 1210 model in a way that its works on all Subarus regardless of what country they were made in.
