Amazing for the money.

For the money it is great. However I would spend the extra few bucks and get Turbo-Smarts adjustable Re-circulation Valve. This product is great, and I love Turbosmart. However, this is TurboSmarts cheapest BOV... If you are not going to go above Stage 2, this is a must... However if you plan on more... Then this thing will need to be replaced since it is not adjustable... My ONLY beef with this product is that it is not adjustable. If it was, its an easy 5 stars.

great value for money spent

Bought this for my 2010 wrx and it fit and works great. Only about half as loud as a standard BOV but this is due to the recirculating feature subaru uses. Overall a great value for the price.

It works great

My stocker was leaking. So I wanted something all metal this was perfect fit. Downside the recirc port angle is a bit off so fitting the stock hose to it is very tricky. But I do love the build quality. And no leaking issues. Solid product. Thanks RSD for the help.

  • Q: Subaru Legacy GT SpecB fitment  wvallerand18292 3 years ago

    Answer

I have read conflicting reports. Does this BOV fit a domestic 2.5L 2007 Subaru Legacy GT? Are there problems with the angulation of the port?

    • A: This valve would bolt up to the Legacy TMIC, but it is specifically for Mazdaspeed models because of the angle of the recirculation outlet. Part number TBS TS-0203-1210 is correct for your Legacy.

  • Q: Fitament   Stevveo 3 years ago

    Answer

I read that this will not fit the process west verticooler, is there a similar one that would fit not only the verticooler but the stock tmic as well?

    • A: This will not fit the Verticooler due to how its designed. If you use the stock TMIC, there are a few more options you can go with. Start by entering your vehicle information on our sites filter, then find Blow off valves. Our site will inform you whats a confirmed fitment and whats not.

  • Q: size  Spencerm 3 years ago

    Answer

What size is this? I'm trying to see if it will fit on the verticooler.

    • A: We do not have the dimensions of this valve, but it is slightly too tall to be used with the Verticooler.

    • A: Dimensions can be found here - http://www.turbosmartdirect.com/Product-Categories/Kompact-Series/Kompact-Plumb-Back-Maz-Sub.html

  • Q: 2014 wrx wagon  seffyrawr83763 3 years ago

    Answer

i am currently stage 2 tuned @ 19psi, i don't run the car every time but i do spirited driving. tial 38mm ewg, catless exhaust, boost control also installed. wondering if this BOV would be good to upgrade the OEM and no tune?

    • A: A blowoff valve will not require a tune and this would be a great setup for your needs as is. If needed, Turbosmart does offer alternative springs if you need a stiffer or softer option depending on your setup.
