You can take the car guy out of the ricer, but you can't take the ricer out of the car guy, lol... This item is marked for sale as a Ford Focus ST item, but it fit's perfectly on my 2.0t 2013 Ford Escape small SUV as well. My wife hates this thing, but I love it. I'm sure that there is a negligible amount of actual performance gain from this, but the smiles-per-gallon improved exponentially. Do you even blow off bruh!?!...

This install was kind of tedious for me due to having larger hands, but the sound that this little thing produces is nothing short of awesome. It definitely turns heads... one of my classmates stared at my car for a few seconds gawking, then finally said: Is that beast really a Focus? Adjustments are very easy, just make sure to start the car and test it before you put the wheel back on.

Awesome sound! Very sturdy construction! and very easy installation. I would suggest this to anyone, its quite loud, and sounds sorta stupid with stock exhaust. when it says you might need adjust the pressure or whatever, don't sweat it. My car was 100% stock when installed and i just left it like it was when I got it out of the box and have not had any issues. P.S. make sure the motor is cool when you plan to install this, don't be impatient like me and burn my hands lol
Did not like this at all...

I did not like this BOV at all. The sound was far too fast and furious and just made it sound like I was trying too hard. It constantly vented which drove me insane after a week. For some reason when I adjusted the valve, it didn't seem to change anything. I had it on full tightness and it still would vent at less than 1psi and at about 2000RPM. In peak hour traffic this gets very annoying. I returned for a BPV and am much happier as it is basically silent. The quality of the product was very good however and would recommend Turbosmart products, but just not necessarily THIS valve, for this car.

Q: Adjustment DBussiere 4 years agoAnswer
Should I have any reason to adjust (soft/harder) the BOV/BPV for any reason? Is it plug and play if not what is the adjustment increments e.g. full turn, half turn, quarter of turn ....ext
A: You may need to adjust the BOV depending on your elevation and engine vacuum. If the BOV is open during idle, then you will need to tighten it. If the BOV makes a fluttering sound when venting, then it needs to be loosened.
