The Go Fast Bits DV+ Diverter valve is a direct replacement for the factory valve on late model VAG and Euro applications. Keep what works and replace what doesn't! This direct fit replacement for factory solenoid with TMS advantage. Works with stock hardware, improves performance and reliability. Exclusive pilot activation system allows HIGHER boost pressure. The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and the ability to hold as much boost as you can throw at it. The OE solenoid itself is great- the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it? Fantastic Upgrade Over OEM! 2 years ago

I recently installed this on my 2013 Volkswagen GLI and all I can say is "Wow!" This thing truly is an all around better design VS OEM. As stated, it will help control boost at higher pressure and offer quicker response between shifts! There is slight noise between shifts, but nothing TOO crazy.

    Noob question, not for my car, for my buddies. Will this make his car make a blow off noise? I drive an 05 STI and I know I don't need a tune for this, but would he? Also, where's this located and how hard is it to change? He wants to come buy one today but I want to help him be one step ahead and ready.

      A:  This will keep the similar sound as oem. You do not need a tune for this. It is a pretty easy installation, instructions for the installation can be found in the top right portion of this page in pdf form.

      A:  The DV+ is not an atmosphere-venting BOV, it recirculates like the stock valve. However, because the stock valve has its flaws, the DV+ is designed to offer throttle response, boost holding, and longevity improvements. The valve is located on the turbo itself, which on Mk5 & 6 models is accessed from underneath the car (need ramps, hoist or axle stands), where the Mk7 has it high up in the engine bay.
