Description

The Mach 2 is configured as a 100% recirculating valve (i.e. bypass, plumb back) and add on kits are also available to convert to 100% atmosphere venting. Use the recirc model for direct factory replacement when you want the performance WITHOUT the noise! Add the conversion kit when you want some noise with your performance!

Factory bypass valves have two main shortcomings – one is that they are typically designed to start opening above a certain pressure to protect the engine, and the other is they are not optimised for throttle response. Oh, and you can’t vent them to atmosphere without stalling your engine.

The Mach 2 solves all of these issues. It can effectively hold unlimited boost (unlimited in that no turbo could ever produce enough pressure to damage it), and the TMS technology ensures maximum throttle response. Oh, and you CAN vent with the atmo conversion to atmosphere without stalling your engine.

Go Fast Bits Mach 2 TMS Recirculating Diverter Valve

This is a great replacement to the factory recirculating bypass valve, for those that want performance, without the noise that comes with a blow off valve. Installation was simple and the product is well built.

Another excellent product from GFB!

Product is of very high quality and fitted up very nicely to all the existing hoses (with no need for an extra bit of vacuum hose like the turbosmart one). To get maximum response the instructions say to keep adjusting the spring stiffer until you hear compressor surge and then back off a bit. If you have the standard airbox then it is almost impossible to hear the compressor surge. So a bit tricky to setup perfectly but thats not the bovs fault. If you have an aftermarket intake this will not be an issue.

Spring is too soft!
jeff.hare91725 3 years ago
Item is quality as usual from GFB so no problems there. Their own instructions say for maximum response to keep adjusting the spring stiffer until you hear compressor surge when lifting off the throttle and then back it off a bit. With it set to as stiff as it will go I cannot hear any compressor surge. So the spring is too soft for this application!! Very disappointed :(
