Description

The Mach 2 is configured as a 100% recirculating valve (i.e. bypass, plumb back) and add on kits are also available to convert to 100% atmosphere venting. Use the recirc model for direct factory replacement when you want the performance WITHOUT the noise! Add the conversion kit when you want some noise with your performance!

Factory bypass valves have two main shortcomings – one is that they are typically designed to start opening above a certain pressure to protect the engine, and the other is they are not optimised for throttle response. Oh, and you can’t vent them to atmosphere without stalling your engine.

The Mach 2 solves all of these issues. It can effectively hold unlimited boost (unlimited in that no turbo could ever produce enough pressure to damage it), and the TMS technology ensures maximum throttle response. Oh, and you CAN vent with the atmo conversion to atmosphere without stalling your engine.

Sounds amazing

An awesome diverter valve that feels very sturdy and heavy, amazing sound under boost, I love the flutter that it makes and it's not too loud like an actual blow off but loud enough to hear in the car and fall in love with driving, install took 5 minutes; no directions needed. Gets louder and better depending on how much psi is built up in the turbo. The video is @ 7psi

Hey I have a 2004 WRX, so does it make that noise just with the valve kit or does it require other upgrades? Because I like the noise of a proper blow off

Great quality valve. I have a Cobb intake with the box so my turbo is loud and it exhales loud as well. This didn't change the sound when i shift high, but when i shift at very low RPM it changed the sound a little bit which I didn't expect this thing to do. not a bad thing, I like it. The only issue i had was when i took the old one off and I had to take the stock elbow off, the 2 screws were on there so tight and the screws were so soft I stripped it in one twist. So I had to drill the old screws out and go to the hard ware store to replace them with stainless steel screws. So I also got to upgrade some screws while i was at it. amazing!

My wife's 2011 STI is what the kiddos call stage 2+. There's much more to it, but we've basically just maximized the stock setup. The car has had a stutter I have been unable to tune out with the AP tuning software. I got it to move in the rpm range, but it was still there. Long story short we narrowed it down to the stock by-pass valve. I bought this as a mothers day gift. I liked that it wasn't intended to be a noise maker for teen tuners. Figured for the price why not try. We installed it in about 15min. And spent an hour making 2500-3500rpm runs to fine tune it. The end result is absolutely no stutter, and her car shifts like a dream! Drivability is improved and it makes the power band more usable resulting in a better performing STI. I will buy another one when I buy my WRX beater!

  • Q: Fmic  joeysanchez3339195 22 days ago

    Answer

Could this be used for a fmic or is it only for a tmic

    • A: It would be possible to use this with a FMIC if it had the same flange, but depending on the flange's location on the piping, you also may have to modify the recirculation hose.

  • Q: Leaks  Sub_GOT 26 days ago

I have a 2010 subaru sti which I want to install a blow off (this has the stage1 + CPF 91 v334). I have heard that this product has a leakage defect. How true is it? Also, another blow off recommends me with the configuration that I have but that it is a blow off Recirculating. Thank you.

    • A: As far as the leaking goes it's something that people report if they don't do the smoke test the specific way that Go Fast Bits requires it to be done. For the second part of the question; For a Subaru you want to keep it recirculating since that is what the car requires as to not run rich or get pops between shifts. ( If you aren't tuned for speed density)
