A world first in blow off valve technology, the Deceptor Pro is based on the patented volume adjustable Stealth FX blow-off valve, but advances the design even further by featuring an industry first electronic proportional in-car adjustment of the blow off valve volume! The volume is adjusted by altering how much air is recirculated back into the intake tube.

Quality product with no flaws.

This BOV is awesonme, eliminates the need for a gasket because of the use of an Oring which means pulling the BOV on and off is no longer an issue, Easily installed and set up and does exactly what it is meant to do, I usually leave it recirculating round town but then when I hit the highway I can easily adjust it and get a fairly loud noise when I release the throttle.

Outstanding Quality / fun to have

The build quality on this product is outstanding. I found that this product was fairly easy to install, and if you are using a TMIC, aftermarket silicone recirc hose is a good upgrade right away. Really enjoy the fact that I can keep it on recirc 98% of the time but make people turn their heads without ever having to get out of my Forester XT to switch it to hybrid or FVTA.

Impressive but not sure if needed

After owning this unit I can say I'm kinda doubting myself on buying it, mainly cause I've rarely needed it to be put back into recirculation mode. This being said if you do live in an area that doesn't allow open blow-off valves than this is the best option. Installation was a bit of a pain, mostly due to how the recirculation hose is clamped onto the factory recir valve. I will said right away it's easier to take off the intercooler than try to wrestle the recirc hose on with the intercooler still in place.

  • Q: High turbo pressure capability ???  Caliman 4 years ago

Hi. Do this BOV support big turbo boost or is it limited ??

    • A: It will handle any amount of boost pressure (factory tested to over 100psi). The limiting factor is the airflow. We've used it up to 550hp no problem.

  • Q: Gasket  john.p.woodbury58979 5 years ago

Will a stock casket work fine or is there a part specific gasket?

    • A: The OEM gasket will fit the design of this Blow Off Valve. To ensure a proper, leakless fit however I would suggest purchasing a new gasket.
