Had for nearly year and only used a few things. The red still hasn't come off after pulling my buddies drift slut 20 miles and pulling a good cart that got stuck.
Very good product! Will look great on your car... I bought it a year ago and it still looks like new. It's less exposed since it's on the back of the car but still. I would have preferred it at least an inch shorter or closer to the bumper like the Custco one on my front bumper. Overall very good product. Great service by RSD!
It's a good looking piece that's well made. I used it to pull my car out of the garage after my engine died. I also used it to pull the car out after the clutch cylinder blew up. It works. After a year, the red paint is flaking off. For $ 20, I'm having it blasted and powder coated. If you get this, expect needing to have it powder coated or live with the paint flaking off.
I'm torn on this one. Beatrush makes amazing products, and that's a fact. The hook is tough, and very well made. However, I'm a bit disappointed. The red paint is chipped in 5 or 6 places. I'm hoping to never have to use the hook, but who knows what'll happen at the track, so I still would like to keep it looking nice. Now I'll just strip and powdercoat it, but for the price, I expected a bit better quality on the finish. It was in solid factory packaging, so not RSDs. Fault. As always, fast shipping and 5 star service from RSD.
Rolled the dice on this one to test fitment on a 2011 STi Hatch.. Fits great, looks better!

A: This if a functional tow hook, but do not expect to be able to pull out something 2-3X heavier then your own car.

A: The Beatrush tow hooks have a 1.5 ton towing capacity. You'll be able to tow anything your WRX/STI will allow.

A: I imagine they should be similar and I do believe this item should fit, but I know the actual bumper brace inside the bumper cover on other models like the Crosstrek vs the WRX can be different in spacing or length of the tow hook. Unfortunately we do not have an Outback to test fit this on so I cannot confirm whether this will fit or not.

A: This simply screws in and does not have any locking function to it. You would need modify to stock square cover to install this unless you wanted to leave it off.

A: The fitment on the 2011 should be the same as the previous model. However Beatrush is only confirming fitment on the STi hatchback models, and does not show if it will or will not fit the WRX. The 2 vehicles are very similar, but we have not been able to confirm fitment ourselves on the WRX.
