Features & Product Details
Whenever you lower your vehicle, it is wise to get a quality Front Roll Center Adjustment Kit, like the one from Whiteline. This particular roll center kit consists of 2 steering arm tie rod ends, 2 ball joints, and it will help correct your suspension geometry by raising the front roll-center geometry after you have lowered your vehicle. This will help improve on the original bump-steer geometry as well for improved handling and to make the most out of the rest of the suspension on your vehicle.
How this works is that the Whiteline ball joints are physically longer when compared to the OEM units. Once installed into the control arm, it will push the control arm down to keep the factory suspension geometry settings as close to OEM as possible. Additionally, the tie rod ends included in this kit are taller when compared to the OEM units and will come with heavy-duty boot covers for heat resistance near the brake rotors.
Whiteline supplies new castle nuts and new pins to make the Front Roll Center Kit ready for the installation.

Changed my rack and tie rods and ball joints and rides much smoother. Would love to see these come with tie rod nuts to hold in place since its very hard to remove old ones and had to wait til the next day to get some from a subaru dealership
I installed Swift Spec R Springs with some wider wheels and tires on my 2015 STI. Although the center of gravity and handling is slightly improved, corner exiting felt a little weird as if the tires toed-out. I installed this kit and the issue went away. The OEM suspension geometry is returned due to the taller ball joint and redesigned tie rod ends. Since the car is still new, the ball joints and tie rods were easy to remove. However I'd recommend buying the Company 23 Ball Joint Separator Tool if you're removing old ball joints. Make sure you read the instructions on transferring the taper sleeves onto the new ball joints for STI aluminum control arms otherwise you'll run into major issues. I used a pickle fork to undo the sleeve off the old ball joints, as Subaru did not apply grease prior to assembling them on the control arm. Replacement was a breeze with proper tools. Don't forget to perform an alignment. Great product from Whiteline as always!!
I got this because car is lowered and i needed to replace ball joints anyways. Install was straightforward...but why doesn't it come with new steel inserts? Everybody says they have trouble getting the ball joints out (mine popped right out, but we had the hardest time getting the inserts off to swap over.
Everything the description says about this product is true. I bought this kit for my 2006 WRX wagon equipped with ISC N1 street sport coilovers, and even though I only dropped my car about an inch or so, it made a noticeable difference in overall driveability versus the OEM tie rod ends and ball joints. Install was very straightforward, I did it in my driveway with my car on jack stands. However, just know that if you have an older WRX this will be a very tedious install. After so many years the ball joints will become seized into the hubs and lower control arms and are difficult to remove. I had to completely take my LCAs off in order to knock the old joints out. All in all, I am happy with this purchase, and the performance so far is definitely worth the time and effort. If you're upgrading your suspension, don't overlook this kit.
I bought this product because I was having interference from my sway links and my tie rods. Not knowing that it would be better than I expected. Between the roll center kit and the Perrin end links, the whole dynamic of my car changed. I thank whiteline for putting out such a quality Product definitely will be leaning on their brand more often.

08 WRX with RCE blacks that give roughly 3/4" (20mm) drop. Is that enough of a drop to recommend this product over OEM?

My car is sitting on rce yellow springs which is right at a 1 inch drop. Will I need to correct my steering geometry or is it fine with the mild drop?

A: This would be a good addition to your setup. I recommend if for any cars that are lowered more than 0.5-0.75" lower than stock.

A: Yes, some steering geometry correction would be required and this kit is specifically designed for a 1" drop so it would be an ideal combination.
