These have been aerodynamically-optimized to funnel in massive amounts of air that creates a venturi effect to bring in more cooling efficiency to your front brakes. When matched with appropriate high-temperature air duct hoses (not included in some applications) the ARP Brake Cooling Ducts will help to channel in large volumes of fresh air to help cool down red-hot brake rotors lap after lap on the track.

Quality of the carbon fiber is obviously top notch, zero visible blemishes. Install with the bumper on the car was pretty challenging. Biggest issue was the upper hardware stack, actually taped the hex nut to my finger and engaged it blindly. Completed fit is not factory flush, but still a beautiful looking addition to the front end.
I didn't purchase these from RSD only because they were out of stock. These are pretty nice, will push plenty of air to my Intake. Fitment is the only reason I gave it 4 stars; if you don't have a dremel plan on buying one to get these to fit flush. I had to do a decent amount of sanding with the dremel, but mostly around where the two bolts are - it was too thick in those areas. Overall, pretty happy, I paid right at 300 for mine, little pricey at 350, but functionality is improved.

i can't believe these are listed without this information what size diameter is the tube for the ducting? 3" ?

A: These will not work on a 2008 STI. There was a facelift done for the 2011 model year, and the spot on the bumper where these mount was changed significantly.
