  • Q: Powder coating inside AOS  Nate7 months ago

One reviewer had mentioned that they powder coated the inside and over time this paint will actually flake off and get lodged inside coolant lines. Has CP addressed this issue or does it remain?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This is the first time I had ever heard of this, this is not an issue you will have with this aos.

  • Q: 2004 subaru forester XT - Air Oil Separator - where to mount??  ChrisMighton12 months ago

I saw the installation instructions where they relocate the wiring harness, but in the 2004 forester XT, there's something else there instead of a wiring harness. A box of some kind with some tubes going to it. Is there a good place to relocate this?? I can't even figure out what the box is on the 2004 forester XT. Any help would be much appreciated ;)

  • Q: V5/6 EJ207 Fitment  SIMER1 year ago

I know the v5/6 EJ205/207 is similar to the 02-05 USDM EJ205; can this be modified to work with my engine? Or can someone point me to a compatible aos?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This kit is chassis specific more so than it is engine specific.

  • Q: Strut tower bar fitment  allanhaywood073815 years ago

I have heard some strut tower bars will not fit with this. Are there any strut tower bars that are known to work?

Will this work with aftermarket, larger top mount intercoolers such as Spearco and process west?

A:  Should not be a issue, as it positions the unit off the right side strut area above the turbo.

  • Q: Kit differences  Chandler B.8 years ago

My STi is currently using the stock top mount but at some point i will be changing over to a front mount. My question is, what are the differences between the top and front mount kits? Is it just hose lengths?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The hose lengths and the mounting positions will be different. You can use the same canister for both, but hose lengths, routing and mounting positions may need to be modified.

  • Q: Fitment  chomhouane218268 years ago

I have a perrin rotated turbo with a TMIC on an 06 STi. Will this TMIC ver. AOS fit? or I shouldn't even try considering how close it might be to the turbo hot side.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Unfortunately Crawford does not confirm fitment with anything but stock intercooler and turbo so I am unsure on that combination of parts.
