  • Q: V3 air&oil separator  el_mostro_ace891688 days ago

What would be the difference installing this kit with a FMIC (Mishimoto) on a 2011 STI
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The main difference between this kit and the FMIC kit would be the mounting bracket. The hoses are most likely different lengths as well.

A:  Most FMIC piping routes thru the area where this canister is mounted. We recommend our V2 kits for the widest fitment options available at this time.

  • Q: AOS in Winter  BrockFoz28 days ago

Is there any worry when it comes to running this AOS in cold weather? Winter is coming up and I live in the good ol state of ID. I've read about some issues with the V2 in the winter. Thanks!
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  No, the V3 is designed and mounted in a way that it does not experience any cold weather condensation. The V1 was our only version that experienced this issue and it was discontinued and replaced with the V2.

  • Q: 09 wrx fitment  Hunter1 month ago

If anyone could tell me what what hoses i take off, where they are, and also how to mount this it would be great. Crawford instructions are half for the wrx and half for the sti and the sti has more room to mount it. If anyone has any pictures to clear up where the hoses go and how they mounted it I would really appreciate it.

  • Q: Crawford AOS V3 for 2010 WRX  PDX_WRX-Z3293 months ago

The instructions are s bit vague when it comes to port 3 being used for the intake before the turbo. What is the intended 1/2" intake port that port 3 on the AOS is supposed to connect to? There is not a free 1/2" intake port to connect to unless I'm missing something. That's for any help.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  The 1/2" line attaches to the white sensor pictured on step 13 of the instructions. (This is the same sensor that you removed the hose from, which was re-attached to the straight fitting on step 10)

  • Q: What are the changes from the V2?  dmilburn86105518 months ago

It looks like there are more ports on the V2 and that it mounts differently. Is this a complete redesign of the separator itself or what?

I have added this to my cart, but it's saying this AOS is not compatible with my 2013 WRX base. Even though the description says 08-14 WRX. What am I missing here?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  This AOS is compatible for your car, as is 2008-2014 WRX models.

  • Q: AOS  AAron9161 year ago

Does this package come with the fire sleeves/zip ties? The AOS on the Crawford website for the 08+WRX comes with more it seems. Thanks
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  What you see pictured is what will actually come with the kit. Based on the TMIC V3 Crawford has listed in their directions, our parts list of whats included matches what they have listed.

A:  The V3 AOS's are in fact universal to the engine type (EJ25), therefore RHD compatible. As for the Process West TMIC, we have not confirmed fitment with that particular part.
