Would have been nice if an extension was included with the mount. I had to make my own mount bracket for the air oil separator using a L shaped bracket from Lowe’s and a hose clamp. Other than that it works. My car idles a bit better. Had to weld 2 bungs onto my intake to get the 2 air hoses on.

What could possibly make a can with a bunch of hoses coming out of it worth $400 you may ask? I asked myself the same ? I finally bit the bullet and ordered me one. The shipping was super quick, 3 days from purchase. When it arrived I opened the box which was Very Neatly Packed and right away I realized my $400 was No waste of money. Be prepared to be stuck under the hood for a while, my Brother and I are pretty good with cars, he has a shop with everything you could possibly need and it took us both 6 hrs and a lot of swears to get this thing done. Before the install I was getting the white poof after initial warm up as well as a strong smell of oil inside the car. Im not sure if anyone else has noticed when cruising a little skip every now and again as well. Welp all that is gone and my car actually runs A lot Better. IAG claims no Horsepower gain and there may not be but I believe the ole HawkEye got a little extra pep in her step. I highly advise anyone to buy this AOS. Every Subaru Should Have one.

Switched from a Crawford AOS to this IAG AOS on my mildly upgraded 05 STI, was having ridiculous amounts of oil consumption issues with good compression and leadown tests. Would often get a puff of smoke when driving. This AOS eliminated those problems and my car is driving like a dream with no oil smells or consumption between oil changes. RSD was fast to ship out had all my stuff withing 3 days! Awesome products and service.

Q: Cruise Control Issue 2005 STI Nickice113 years ago
I saw that on the Perrin AOS there was comments about loosing or having to relocate the cruise control system. Is this something that is required for this AOS?

A: The deletion or moving of your cruise control module on the 2002-2005 model years appears to only apply to the WRX, IAG specifically mentions it in the install instructions only for 2.0 liter cars.
