Great looking product with a fairly easy installation process. 1 month ago

This AOS is a Cobb rebranding of IAG's Street AOS. The finish is sleeker than IAG in my opinion. There is a step-by-step walkthrough with photos on the Cobb website. That tutorial uses the IAG model as an example. This product does not clear the factory strut tower bar. This AOS is great because unlike a simple catch can, you don't need to empty out any oil. It recirculates the oil back into the system. It routes coolant from the expansion tank to heat up the oil before sending it back to the motor. There is a bleeder port to purge the air from the cooling system. It uses two 7/8" open end wrenches. These are not sizes I had in my toolbox, and I ended up slightly marring and ruining the finish of the bleeder port nuts trying to use whatever I had in my toolbox. Be aware of these sizes and have them in hand or find two adjustable wrenches large enough. Overall, this product is a great buy.

(2014 WRX Hatch) At 29k miles my stock engine's oil pickup cracked causing oil starvation -> shattered connector rod -> dead engine. After acquiring a brand new engine from Subaru (ty warranty) I've done everything I can to ensure my engine is bulletproof. The Killer B pan, pickup and baffle in combination with the Cobb AOS has restored my faith in my EJ and I'm finally confident again to push my WRX to it's limits. Installation is a bitch and the instruction on Cobb's website are trash. The techs at Cobb were also confused by their own instructions when I called for help. **I recommend references IAG's AOS installation guide since they're relatively the same.**
