The Innovate Motorsports DB gauges are 52mm (2 1/16") air fuel gauges. Each gauge features a bright LED (available in blue or red). Each kit includes the gauge, an LC-2 wideband controller, oxygen sensor & bung/plug, and the award-winning LogWorks engine-tuning software.

Key benefits of the "DB" kits include:
  • The industry's most accurate and fastest-responding wideband controller.
  • One additional available analog output (one connects to the gauge).
  • Easy setup and wiring (instructions included).
  • LC-2 includes Innovate serial in & out for adding additional modular tuning system (MTS) components. (Gauge itself is analog only- no serial).

Works great

Does exactly what it says. Innovate motor sports has been around for a long time and the quality shows why. The gauge is kinda bland, but it works perfectly and it's accurate. My only gripe is that you have to solder the gauge in. All the other connections are plugs.

Functional, looks good, easy setup and install.

I like it, it matches my cluster and gauge setup. Fairly easy install, I welded a bung for the sensor about 20 inches down my downpipe and routed the wiring through the firewall. Make sure you do a proper free air calibration before you use it, or you'll get messed up readings! The only thing I wish it had were the ring of lights around the outside that appear on the MTX-L.

Best match for STi cluster

Installed in smy cluster maker and couldn't be happier, matches and functions perfectly.

Fitment great; Functional and customer service failure

I bought this well in advance of installing it which was my first mistake. In doing so, it was too late to return the sensor when it did not work as advertised. I called RSD and they regretfully informed me that I was out of their return period but pointed me towards Innovate's customer service line. I told them my issue of the gauge not reading in any tuning software and when I could occasionally get it to read the sensor it gave me narrowband outputs of 0, 7 and 20. I recallibrated it before contacting them and they said do it again, too much time may have passed. If was less than a day between free air calibrations. I t didn't change anything which I told them and they promptly stopped communicating with me. Now I have a useless sensor and sender unit and a strong dislike of innovate and their products because they won't stand behind a sensor or help their customers. God help me if I had wanted to supercharge an FRS and ended up in trouble with a whole supercharger to sort out. So a 3/5 to RSD since they were just following protocol and a 0/5 for innovate for letting a bad sensor slip through QC and then doing nothing to help. Hopefully the AEM unit will work and have better customer service.

Good product

I am very impressed with the simplicity of the kit for my 13 STi. I chose not to use the dimming feature and at night the gauge is super bright and during day is easy to read. I used in conjuction with ATR and love it. BUY THIS NOW!

  • Q: Connection for datalogging on open source?  philip041569564 3 years ago

Can i have this gauge data outout to my open source for logging and tunning purposes?

    • A: Yes. What open source software are you using? There are software versions available that can log using the serial port of the LC-2. Others will have a possible analog (0-5v) input available on the ECU to then use your software to log the data.

  • Q: Plug & Play 2012 WRX  ajdevill123456 3 years ago

Would this function as a replacement for the semi-wideband sensor of a 2012 WRX ... can the existing wiring harness be utilized with this O2 sensor / will the ECU recognize it?

    • A: This is not a replacement for the OEM narrowband sensor. This is a completely stand alone system apart from the OEM ecu.

  • Q: SMY cluster  outcold 5 years ago

will this fit an 08+ wrx SMY cluster?

    • A: These gauges are quite shallow so it should not be much of a issue.

  • Q: Lambda?  psfp 6 years ago

Can this gauge be configured to display Lambda values instead of AFR? Thanks

    • A: You can change the multiplier in the software to calculate AFR from Lambda

  • Q: Pod?  adamehatch 6 years ago

Will this kit fit into one of the Difi 52mm pod cups? If not, what would you recommend? Thanks RSD!

    • A: Depth wise it looks to be no problem. Only thing that I can see being a issue is trying to get the connector in through the hole on the back of the pod.
