Note: these are the 08-14 WRX specific mounting plates. so i'm speaking about those design faults. The look of these mirrors is awesome. But.... Drivers Side: The screw which adds pressure to the ball socket for adjustments stripped out the base plate. Now it can't be tightened and is floppy. I will need to put the stock mirror back on. Adjustment angles are not as easy to get correct. The passenger mirror is out of the line of site of the driver if you like sitting closer. The adjustment bolt did not strip, but there is still way too much play in the socket. both mirrors are obstructed by the Weathertech window visors/rain guards. The overall design is pretty nice if you never needed this to be cutting through the wind. Not very practical for a daily driver. Too poor quality for a race car. Also the adjustments for tightening the ball socket are in back of the mounted plate so if it's too loose then be ready to take it ALL the way OFF to tighten it back up. These mirror base plates need to go back to R&D to make them more durable. Better threading easier adjustment. The location of the mirrors need to be set up closer to the driver not set back as far as they are where the larger stock mirrors work.
