A:  We cannot confirm that these bump stops will work properly with Eibach springs because these are made specifically for Epic springs and Eibach does not confirm compatibility with aftermarket bump stops.

  • Q: Are these needed  mazda_mazdascott892238 years ago

I have a 08 wrx. Will these bump stop work/ be needed for lowering my car?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These bump stops are specifically for STI models and may not fit WRX struts properly. Some lowering springs require the stock bump stops to be modified or replaced and other springs do not. You will need to check if replacing the bump stops is necessary for the springs you want.

  • Q: about the bump stops  kevin1985912328319 years ago

Do they help with strut's life with lowering springs? I'm thinking about getting the eibach pro kit springs for my 13 sti. Will this bump stops a good add on?
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If you end up bottoming out your struts often these will help cushion the blow and could lead to a longer life for your struts. It is very common with lowering springs to go with a better bump stop such as these, although some lowering springs recommend using the cut factory units.

  • Q: OEM springs  didoseven10 years ago

HI,i installed a 15mm wheel spacers font and 20mm rear on subaru sti 2010 with an OEM coil springs and Shock Absorbers, can i use the Epic Engineering Bump Stops Subaru STI 2008-2013 to prevent the wheels from touching the fenders??? u said They are generally used on lowered vehicles but mine is standard plz reply & thanks
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Bump stops are made to keep the suspension from compressing all the way and are not designed to minimize that much suspension travel. I suggest getting stiffer springs or adding some negative camber to help with the rubbing.

  • Q: 2007 STi fitment question.  sleepergtp2332511 years ago

Is there any possible way this bump stop can be altered to work on an '07 STi. The options now are very limited. If not, do you know where I could find some (hopefully progressive)? Thank you very much.
    • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  We can special order the bump stops from the Epic Engineering spring kit for your 2007 STi if needed but it only comes with the 2. If you need those please contact our customer service. Thank you.

  • Q: Epic Engineering Bump Stops  Radu12 years ago

Can you please explain what are these bushings used for and where? I have a Subaru STI 2009 GRB.
    • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  These go on all four struts, they slide over the piston of the strut and prevent a harsh 'bottoming out' when you hit a pot hole or speed bump. Other than that, they have no affect on handling. They are generally used on lowered vehicles as the chance of them bottoming out is greater.
