This is the ACT Monoloc Collar that is available for separate purchase for those of you who need a replacement. Additionally, this is also an upgrade to the standard two-piece wedge collar and wire ring featured in pull-type clutches.
The spring tension of the segmented retaining ring is carefully calculated and tested for optimal performance and provides a uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate to assure proper alignment. It is also a durable piece as it features hardened Chromoly steel construction to provide long-lasting performance.

One of the best purchases I have ever made, Works extremely well.
We had the stock caged bearing on our pull pressure plate fail us at the track. Thus, the replacement had to be designed/built to not let this failure happen again. The ACT Monoloc Collar does just that. Once in your hand you will easily conclude this collar is robust, single piece vs the multiple pieced stock cage, & CNC machined from steel materials sized to not break. Install was simple - press it in place after disposing of the stock cage & get ready to pair the Monoloc with your release bearing. I recommend you use an ACT built release bearing as it is built much better than stock.
Clipped right into my Competition Clutch pressure plate. I'm sold on this product and this technology. It's beefy and will hold up to the track abuse.
I went with the ACT Pressure Plate Disk and Flywheel just made sense to me to get this piece along with it as ACT took the time to develop it in conjunction with the other parts. Fits great, works great and provides me with peace of mind when shifting...spiritedly

A: It's technically only confirmed with ACT clutches as advertised, although our ACT rep has indicated it would work with other brands' clutches as well.
