This the COBB Tuning Big SF Intake System. The intended purpose of this component is to be a direct replacement of your restrictive factory intake system. This is accomplished with a 3" aluminum pipe that features smooth bends and a smooth interior lining that will limit turbulence and back-pressure under acceleration. Air is filtered through a reusable green filter which can be cleaned and serviced throughout the life of the vehicle.
The filter will be protected by an aluminum filter box that will shield away harmful heat away from the filter. Both the intake piping, as well as the heat shield will come powder-coated in a nice wrinkle black finish to blend in well with the engine bay, and to provide a clean look. Once installed, you will get more horsepower, more torque, and reduced turbo lag.

I highly recommend this intake to anyone who wants performance and sound! Pretty easy install too! Don’t waste your time with OTS tunes if you’re like me and live where there’s only 91 octane, was having a lot of false knock readings, once I went with an etune fixed all my issues!
Rally sport. Quick fast shipping, box was beat up a bit upon receiving with minor minor bends at the ends of the intake pipe-but easily fixable Thank you Rally sport The intake itself now. Well crafted and easy installation, just be patient, don’t shortcut yourself, have the correct tools and make sure all fasteners are tight, everything lined up perfectly for me. (compliments the COBB AOS also) Performance. Updated Cobb AP to the correct ots stage 2 tune, definitely more turbo intake noise and bov boosshhh , I swapped stock trans mount to a group n and the car has a while different feel all together. I going to get a extra filter, so I can swap them out upon cleaning.

It was much more difficult to install then others I have done, but once in it looked great. Engine bay has a clean look and the OTS tunes from Cobb make it a great choice for the do it yourselfer looking to mod without the added cost of a pro-tune.

I've seen this comes with a filter that requires to be oiled. Is it possible to use a dry flow filter that does not required to be oiled? Thanks guys!

A: In theory that is an option, I don't think Cobb would "recommend" it.

A: You'll want to run the Stage 1+ SF map, no pro tune is necessary.
