Replaced an old filter that was on my car before. Out of the box impressions; Feels great, not flimsy, good strong rubber surround, the mesh holding the actual filter together felt strong too. No complaints or anything. I like how you do not need to oil it and that it is washable and reusable! Saves money being that you don’t have to go out and buy a whole new unit every time. Engine still runs great, no codes or any other oddities. Fit perfect in my 2002 wrx

Very high quality. The rubber, metal wiring, and two layer filter material all look very sturdy. Great fit in my 2006 wrx airbox. Plus its washable and reusable. Then of course one of the reasons I got it is because it doesnt use any oil that can potentially coat the maf sensor. As for the performance. It seems to help with throttle response. Although I am using it with the cobb tuning stage 1 93 octane tune. Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

How are the milage intervals before it needs to be cleaned? The stock paper filter recommend 30,000 miles. Would this need to be cleaned sooner? Thanks
