Very good quality, great fit and finish. Did not come with the outlet orfices, however I don't think I would end up using them anyway

Developed a leak on the top of the fpr where the diaphragm is. Car has only been driven about 12,000 miles total. On E85 for the last 1,000 miles before I discovered it

If you are thinking of getting any sort of fuel upgrades for your car, this should be on the list. This FPR works great with the Injector Dynamics fuel rails since there both 6an O-ring fittings. This thing is made to last! My only though to make this FPR better would be to space the 4 bolts out more for the bracket as it only fits on horizontally and not vertically. Other then that this is a must buy!

i was on the fence about this regulator because of the description of what kind of fittings it uses. i had an aeromotive that went out on me so i needed one asap but didnt want to spend another 200 on an aeromotive one if the aem one could use the fittings i have. long story short, what aeromotive calls -6orb (for o-ring boss) is exactly the same as/another name for 9/16x18. this is also known as -6 o-ring from parts sites that specialize in fittings. the main difference between this regulator and the aeromotive as far as the fittings are concerned is if you use -6AN in the aeromotive the conical seat doesnt have a place to create a seal. this regulator is machined with a chamfer for the o-ring to sit in as well as the conical seat for regular AN adapter fittings.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Aem Setting Up Pressure  Viper4 years ago

Hi, my Miata fuel pressure should be 4 bar, when I set up the AEM FPR do I set to four bar with the vacuum pipe off and plugged when running or just on ignition with no engine running, and then put the vacuum pipe back on, many Thx. Vinny.
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  As I'm sure you know 4bar of fuel pressure is typically too high for base fuel pressure and in most cases is set to pressure much closer to factory fuel pressure. In any case, base fuel pressure should be adjusted with the engine idling with the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line disconnected. Once the fuel pressure has been adjusted and set, the vacuum line can be reattached.

Does it come with these like your Tomei s product does or would you have to buy some?
    • Q: Install  Gomesypoo7 years ago

I bought this regulator to for my 2002 wrx, and the mechanic said that it won't mount where the stock regulator is located. Do i need to purchase an install kit for this part and if so what kit should we use

    • Q: Fuel Bleed down  2010Fozziext7 years ago

How fast does the fuel bleed down on this regulator?
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  It will bleed down as soon as the key is turned off. They do not hold pressure for any significant amount of time.

    • Q: Stumble fix?  Jbrar8 years ago

I have a 2014 sti sedan that has stumble around the 3k rpm range and im not sure if im correct but i have read that to fix the issue you need to get the fpr from 06-07 sti or aftermarket fpr. So my question is would this fix that problem. And the only stumble fix kit ive seen is on the cobb website which has the hoses and connectors included. So is that needed to fix that or can i just hook this up to my stock lines? Ive read alot about this whole issue but alot of people are saying all sorts of things and im still confused.
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  An aftermarket fuel pressure regulator is one of many ways that has been known to fix a fuel stumble. Keep in mind this is a universal product and will be a custom fit with your vehicle.
