Features & Product Details
RallySport Direct is proud to start carrying the line of Forced Performance Turbochargers. Forced Performance has been progressively designing and engineering premium aftermarket turbochargers for the sport compact market for decades. Today, Forced Performance continues to expand their catalog by producing quality aftermarket turbochargers and turbocharger accessories for many makes and models.
This particular Turbocharger is the FP Red which features the GT35R compressor section with a compressor wheel measurement of 61.5mm inducer and an 82mm exducer. The turbine wheel measurement will have a 67.3mm inducer with a 58.8mm exducer. It will come with the 84mm Flow Advancement Port compressor cover that will be coupled with the Forced Performance 8cm turbine housing. Additionally, it will have the CHRA FP journal bearing and has a flow rating of 65LB per minute
Also, because this turbocharger has the 84mm cover, it will require the TGV Delete to be able to fit in the stock location.
The Forced Performance Red Turbocharger will come with the oil line, hardware which includes banjo bolts, as well as a new downpipe and uppipe gasket to make this turbocharger ready for the installation.
For a perfect install, FP recommends using their 84mm Inlet. The 84mm compressor housing is slightly larger than 3" and other brands inlet hoses are not compatible with this turbo.

Q: Spool Time vs Other 65 lb Turbos Chris1 year agoHow is the spool of this turbo compared to a dom 5.0 or GTX3076R / 3576R? Out of these turbos which will spool faster?

A: The 65lb/min old school red model is not the most fast spooling turbo in the FP lineup in 2020. This turbo was one of the first hybrid turbos they built for the Subaru platform and was first built-in the 2005 period. It has been a staple of the Subaru turbo market ever since, but something with a smaller turbine wheel like a GT30 would spool a little faster. In the FP lineup the Blue model is about the fastest spooling turbo possible, and it still allows for 500whp with the right build.Johnny M. @ RallySport Direct 1 year ago
