Pump gas: 321whp E55 399 whp Mods: stage 2 short block, bc 272 cam, valve springs, titanium retainers, tgv deletes, cobb fuel rails. fp blue turbo, Id 1300s, aem 340, cobb flex fuel kit, process west intercooler, aem turbo inlet, cobb sf intake, cobb up pipe, catted downpipe. Cat back exhaust. Review: spools quickly, pulls hard on e85. honestly I was hoping for a bit more power. Tuner blames the quality of the gas made the car start to knock and the size of the compressor limited the amount of air going into the engine. I was hoping for 400whp on pump gas and 450+ on e85.
17' STI Running the FP Blue 58mm internal wastegate model. Made 424whp & 456wtq on E85, 20psi(DynoJet), 93 Octane 386/404 AEM340 pump 1300x injectors (On E85 Duty Cycle is around 75% at WOT) TGV Deletes Stock up pipe Agency Power Equal Length Headers
Had this turbo installed on my stroker JDM STI and made 351WHP with 285ft lbs torque on 21psi. Full boost by 3800rpm which isnt bad. Only have 90 oct fuel in Jamaica so have to use Boostane to carry it up to 93. Great turbo, pulls all the way up. I believe the torque should be higher but I installed big tube equal length headers when i installed the turbo. Recently changed to smaller diameter headers so just waiting for my tune now to see what more i will get from this already great turbo.
I just wanna share my experience with this new upgrade that i did on my 06 wrx. I finally experiencing the true power on my stock motor stock internals. We squeeze a 360hp367trq out of it. Good turbo. Good top end. My set up is on the conservative side coz i only have wrx and high miles already. Shout out To metro performance in Murrieta they protune my car
Purchased this turbo from RSD and of course it came with super fast shipping. Turbo is great I’m super impressed. Comes on strong and hits like a tank.

A: Not the turbo itself. You will need an up pipe that has a 38mm external wastage port.

Is a 38mm external wastgate big enough to run this turbo pump gas only or do you think a 44mm gate is needed instead?

A: you could run the IWG but if you're going for this turbo id just get the EWG'd one and take that extra savings (its cheaper) and just buy an EWG and up-pipe combo

A: It will flow up to 475WHP but realistically you will likely see 400-450WHP with supporting mods and a high octane fuel or E85. Thanks!
