    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: Forester Coilovers on WRX  Jordan 3 years ago

Could I use these on an 04 Sti? I don’t want the Wrx part number of these since they only allow the car to sit at a lowered ride height. I was thinking these would work good so that I could run like a 1” drop in the summer and then raise them up for a 1” lift in the winter.

A:  In theory yes, but I'm not sure what your final ride height would be and the max low/high adjustments would be. Also do note, these are only confirmed for the Forester, so should something not work for whatever reason, we would not be able to help you there, but as long as you understand that, you should be good to go :)

A:  Hi Jordan, This should work in theory. These coilovers are designed to lower the Forester to around WRX wagon height or there abouts. Another thing to keep in mind, is the Forester has a narrower track width than the STi. This may lead to you getting more negative camber than intended with these, so you may need additional camber correct (Front Camber plates/Offset Mounts and/or front/rear Camber bolts) .

    • Q: suspension question  Mtnhouse3 years ago

Hi, I have a 2005 forester XT. I want to retain the stock height because I want to also take it off roading and lower it when im not off roading. Does the Pedders Extreme XA Coilover Kit will retain the stock height? If not do you have any recommendation? thanks
      • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  Hi Mtnhouse, Unfortunately these do not allow for stock height. The tallest setting would still be 1-1.5" lower than stock (about WRX wagon height). Also, the coilovers are sprung / damped for street use, not off road. Best Regards, Pedders
