BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 Performance Tire 225/45ZR18 (95W)

The BFGoodrich g-Force Sport COMP-2 is an ultra high-performance tire that makes for the perfect candidate for a great summer tire for sports cars, sports coupes, along with performance sedans and modern muscle cars. The g-Force Sport COMP-2 will accelerate faster, corner harder, and brake shorter in both dry and wet conditions. Because this particular tire is a summer season tire, note that they are not intended to be driven in near freezing temperatures especially through snow or ice.

The g-Force Sport COMP-2 is the end result from the many decades of experience, design, and engineering through the BFGoodrich g-Force racing line. Some of the key features of this tire are a silica-infused COMP-2 compound that is derived from racing technology which helps promote sharp steering response along with wet and dry grip without sacrificing the tread wear. The compound is then molded into a directional tread design with aggressive shoulder blocks along with g-Hook intermediate ribs and twin center ribs to deliver great driver feedback at the limit. Additionally, the g-Force Sport COMP-2 features BFGoodrich’s Performance Racing Core which is an internal structure that includes twin, high tensile steel belts that are reinforced by an enhanced equal tension containment system, of spirally wound nylon that stabilizes the tread area which will help to optimize the contact patch.
