You are looking at a top-of-the-line fully USA built Grimmspeed Downpipe. All materials, engineering, R&D, fabrication, etc are straight out of the USA. The tubing is CNC Mandrel Bent 304 Stainless Steel using their custom made bend dies which give you the best fit and performance possible. Please take a second to check out these 304 Stainless Steel flanges which are a serious work of art. All 3 sides of the flanges are CNC Machined to perfection. The outlet of the downpipe has a standard 3” 2-Bolt flange that will mate up with most aftermarket cat-backs on the market. They have also included a wideband O2 bung for you if needed. Having a secondary o2 Bung give you a provision if you want to use a wideband O2 gauge.
During their design, they utilize their in-house 7-axis FARO™ Arm to obtain extremely accurate fitments. What this means is, they scan all of the mounting points on the car, bring those into their CAD software, and then begin designing the pipe around their scanned OEM data in their Solidworks CAD software. Most downpipes(or exhaust pipes for that matter) on the market are designed using fixtures. Essentially their competitors will create a welding fixture by handoff of an OEM part. This leads to a ton of chances for things to be off. They don't take those chances. They have spent the capital on R&D equipment where others have not.
Because this product replaces/removes an OEM emissions control device we must state that this product is for offroad use only.
New hardware and gaskets will be included to make this downpipe ready for the installation.
Please Note: You will need to slightly adjust the divider tab to fit a VF40/VF46 turbo. It’s a very simple process but please contact our customer service representatives if you have any questions.

GS continues to pump out great products, got it heat coated for extra heat absorption but ran into a fitment issue when running the Cobb 20G that's internally gated. The gate wouldn't fully open or close which resulting in crazy overboosting. Filled down the divider flap but still ran into problems so ended up going with a bellmouth DP. Highly recommend based on quality but make sure you know the clearances for IWG setups.
The quality when I unboxed the downpipe was incredible. Every weld was perfect, the flanges are extremely thick and durable. The install was like any other downpipe install, very easy. I’ve had bellmouth downpipes that were difficult to get anything on the bottom but for the turbo flange but this wasn’t like that. As for the sound and performance, best downpipe I’ve had yet. I have it paired with a tomei Expreme catback and it sounds worlds better than my last STI that was invidia catless turbo back. Highly recommend this downpipe to anybody looking to stay catted. My car runs extremely well on the Cobb stage 2 OTS map as well. My AF ratios are very consistent and where they should be. Never pull knock except the normal -1.4 when my defrost is on. Pulls amazing and no over boosting. 5 stars no doubt.

Installed on Legacy GT. Fits perfect other than the waste gate lip needs a little bending ( they told me this in the instructions) to allow valve to open all the way. A little trial and error, fit and bend.... and it went together nice. As far as the bolt up... perfect alignment. As far as the sound and performance, Amazing! but you knew that cause your friends car has one on it! Get it
I went with this divorced waste gate DP cause I read it works well with the stock turbo. But at the same time a down pipe is a down pipe. The quality of this GrimSpeed downpipe is excellent! And I currently have it paired with the Invidia Q300. The power gains are what I expected with such mod and a stage 2 map from Cobb. I felt a more precise turbo spool and much better top end power. The sound this pair produces is a very deep rumbling tone and not extremely loud at higher RPM’s and very nice idle sound. Very satisfied! And very fast shipping from Rallysport Direct!

A: Yes, your SPT exhaust should be 3", and this will bolt direct to it.
