Gfb hybrid blow off valve 5 days ago
    5out of 5stars

So i installed today on 11wrx with verticooler. It is a tight but it does fit with the verticooler. Had to flip brake level sensor around and worked great.

    Great Product! 1 year ago

Very happy with the quality of the GFB. Fitment was great. I highly recommend the product! Only thing I will warn about is that you will more than likely have to have a cobb programmer or some other way to tune the vehicle after install. Even though in the GFB instructions it tells you can adjust it until it no longer backfires when you shift, but the only way my car didn't backfire is if the GFB was turned completely to recirculate. Which was fine for me because I was getting the car pro tuned on a Cobb accesport anyway. But Just wanted to let people know that.

Install and “tune” took less than 30 mins. Great piece from out of the box. Good solid piece. Piston seems to be very durable. Set at between the softest and the hardest setting. Stock 09 wrx with catback and gave that WOOSH sound that I always wish I had in my hondas. Does anyone know if it has any alignment/clearance issues with the process West verticooler.

    Quality product 2 years ago
    4out of 5stars

So it appears to be a well constructed product but this did not work for me as the stock spring is to stiff for my setup. I am running a 2008 WRX with a process west intercooler and a Cobb tune and at the softest spring setting I was getting turbo surge. When physicaly pushing in the piston with my finger it feels pretty stiff. At 50/50 it has a good blow off sound, but not much louder than the blow off sound I get from my cob intake. I just ordered the soft spring and will try that out and see if she works better. Will update review!

GFB TMS Respons Hybrid BOV 2 years ago
    5out of 5stars

Great product. Mine had a slight scratch on the bottom flange from MFG but didn't seem to affect performance of the BOV. Adjustments can be made very fast and makes it very convenient. Highly recommend.

    QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

    • Q: GFB BOV adjusting  N8iveSubie3 months ago

I have an 09 WRX, that ive upgraded from stage 1 to stage 2 and with a torque performance tune. Do I need to do any adjusting on the BOV to compensate for the tune? I keep blowing off lines from the BOV and want to make sure. Thank you!
      • 0 of 0 people found the following answer helpful

A:  If your vacuum line keeps coming off the diaphragm nipple on the BOV you will want to use a clamp to hold it in place, you do not need to adjust the BOV regardless of your tune.

    • Q: Exhaust popping   Codes5 months ago

I put this on my 2013 WRX and have it set to what looked like half circulating and half venting, and sometimes when i rev to around 35k i'll get a pop from the exhaust. I've been told its fine but just wanted to see your opinion. I have an Invidia N1 cat back and Invidia uppipe installed, along with a cold air intake and an accessport tuned to stage 1.
    • Q: 2011 WRX fitment  slowrx9207 months ago

I have a 2011 WRX with various mods including a Process West verticooler, will this fit with my verticooler?
    • Q: Tune ?  Live free or die subie1 year ago

I have a 2013 wrx turbo back 3" with cobb short ram and a stage 2 on the access port will I have to go get a pro Tune?
    • Q: My car is stock  totalynotchris1 year ago

This might be a stupid question, but here it goes. I've owned the same 2009 WRX for two years. Apart from an exhaust that the previous owner had, the car is bone stock. I've been wanting to put on this specific bov on for a while, now. With it being stock, will there be any problems if I install this part without having anything else on?
      • 1 of 1 people found the following answer helpful

A:  No stupid questions here! You can bolt this right on and you will not have any problems at all. Give us a shout if you have any more questions.
