So far I have been thrilled with the performance that the Tein Flex Kit has given me. My 2006 WRX TR is a whole different car now. Bumps in the road are more noticeable, and you have to really pay attention to the road so as not to bottom out, but anyone buying coilovers should already know this. My car handles ridiculously well now. I'd recommend this kit to anyone |

I purchased Tein because of their great reputation, low cost rebuilds and first hand knowledge from a friend.
Tein also is just up the street from me so going there is also easier.
The product quality was very high. I had these installed on my old 04 WRX. The ride quality as expected for daily driving is rough, and you can hit your head on the head liner if you hit the right bumps. Trust me on that one.
Track day/setup with these was superb, and with the corner balancing I got I couldn't have been happier.
In hall honesty, I personally never noticed a lot of change by adjusting the dampening, but part of that may have been because I was not pushing them as hard as possible.
If you do not plan on tracking the car or doing auto-cross I wouldnt recommend them.
I'd recommend them again, and I am considering buying these for my 06 STI. |
