The OEM factory bushings are made out of soft rubber, to help decrease rode noise, however they move and compress under hard driving conditions. Altering the suspension geometry, and decrease vehicle responses to direction change. After market bushings, help to maintain vehicles suspension geometry and increase responsivenesses during hard driving conditions. However the thing to be noted, that vehicle ride quality will decrease do to the harder material being used in after market bushings, as well a increase in highway noise transfered into the cabin.
