If you want to be noticed, this is the way to do it.

Having an efficient intercooler on a track car is pointless unless you are able to keep the engine cooling under control. The Process West V-Mount system uses the very latest in “stepped” radiator core technology.

The stepped radiator core is designed to mount at an angle of 30 degrees. Although the core is mounted in a laid over position, the ambient air flow through the radiator is still parallel to the road surface. This results in the most efficient radiator/intercooler combo that is available for the 02-07 WRX/STi.

Process West? More like Process Best. At least it's not Kanye West.

This is the most optimal inter cooler for those who track their cars on a regular basis. It comes in two separate boxes, and they are both packaged to survive a nuclear bomb. What justifies the price many will ask? Well the V-Mount design again is design to provide the best cooling to both your inter cooler and radiator at the same time. The radiator comes with a pair of fans, as well as a support beam for both the radiator and inter cooler that mounts where the factory crash beam previously existed. You have to cut your lower factory radiator support beam off to create room for the new setup however it is a small sacrifice to make for quite the setup. The inter cooler pipes mount perfectly, and my Tial blow off valve had plenty of clearance near the intake manifold. Depending on where your location is, I was told to run a warmer thermostat. Overall 5 stars, 3 high fives. super sized, with extra fry sauce. This is the end all be all cooling system for my race car.

  • AnswerQ: whats the default installation style?   imprezer 9 months ago

intercooler piping : stock throttle location or reversed (rotated intake manifold)? if its stock location does process west offer a reversed throttle ?

    • A: The default styling is meant to be for a standard throttle body, if you are running a reverse throttle body setup custom piping is required.

  • AnswerQ: Rotated turbo and front crash bar removal  Hawk1 2 years ago

Can this set-up work without a rotated turbo set-up and does the front crash bar need to be removed on an 07 sti?

    • A: This can be used on a rotated setup but it would have to be a custom configuration as seen by Kinetic Motor work's photo on this product page. This unit does remove the stock crash bar.

  • AnswerQ: Really considering!  busker23 2 years ago

Are there any hidden cost or pieces I need to purchase to install this intercooler set up? I will be doing the install myself in my garage.

    • A: This is a complete kit and no additional parts are needed.

  • AnswerQ: Rad core size  Stephen S. 3 years ago

what is the size of the radiator core? im guessing the measurements in your details section are for the intercooler

    • A: Dimensions (without tanks) is height 310mm x 690mm x 55mm (this is the actually dimension of the core) *When mounted at 30 degrees the effective height becomes 286mm.

  • AnswerQ: 5 Questions for this setup   Crooker2005 3 years ago

1.can i still use the Moroso Air oil separator 2.Would it still be a good idea to use a cosworth thermastat 3.Will the greddy oil still be able to fit where it suppose to 4.what a/c pump deletes would be recommended 5.Does this kit provide silicone hoses, and if not which kit would recommend

    • A: 1. While from the pictures it looks like that would work properly together we cannot guarantee it sorry. 2. Yes a cosworth thermostat would work fine with this setup. 3. I am assume you meant oil cooler. I am sorry I cannot say for sure if it would fit properly together or not. 4. There are no additional deletes required any pieces left open will want to be plugged in order to prevent debris from getting into the system. 5. Silicon hoses are included as pictured.
