The Eibach Pro-Kit precisely lowers your car's center of gravity, reducing squat during acceleration, body roll in corners and excessive nose-dive under braking. When combined with Plus-1 or Plus-2 wheels and tires, the Eibach Pro-Kit is the finishing touch to a winning recipe for performance. Pro-Kit also reduces excessive fender-well clearance, making your car look just as hot as it performs.

Great street springs did not overwhelm my still stock struts. Stock front bolts and Eibach rears suffice for street use.

Lowering springs have the bad rep of decreasing strut life. Some cheaper ones simply losing their tension after a few thousand miles. Two of the Tein springs are cheaper than the Eibach Prokit. However, with price comes quality. The cheaper of the two Teins offer no performance increase. Handling becomes sloppy at higher speeds. The more expensive one offers some compromise, but by no means is it any better than the already half-decent stock suspension set up on a WRX. The Eibach Prokit offers about a 1.5 drop on all fours. The car is noticeable stiffer, however it doesn't unruly at highway speeds. I would say this is the best spring set that offers the lowered look as well as performance before going one step up into coil-over territory.

  • AnswerQ: Even drop?  whatismason 12 months ago

Will these springs give me an almost even drop on all fours?

    • A: It will give a 1.3 drop in front and 1.0 drop in rear. But with the car sitting higher in from the factory in the front, it will drop it and make it sit pretty evenly.

  • AnswerQ: RCE Blacks to these - much softer?  gethintevans01784 1 year ago

Hi, I have two daughters that now ride in the back of my 2002 WRX Wagon, I have the Koni inserts and the RCE Blacks, saggy butt shims, the ride is just too harsh over bumps, potholes, rough roads etc. Will these soften out those harsh bumps? I believe the RCE Blacks are rated at 280lbs rate. Ideally would want something similar to stock comfort. Thanks!

    • A: The Racecomp Black springs are rated at 257 lbs/in for the rear and these progressive springs are rated for 94-161 lbs/in. These springs will be softer and more comfortable for daily driving.

  • AnswerQ: Snow functionality  Big Turbo Terminator 1 year ago

I'm new to the Subaru game and I want to lower my bugeye wrx wagon, stock ride height is a bit too high for my taste. I see that this kit will indeed fit my wagon but my question is this; Will this kit disrupt how my car performs in the snow at all? It snows a lot at my school and I need to know that my wrx's ability to plow through it won't be affected.

    • A: The only thing to consider is that you will be reducing your clearance about 1.3 up front and 1 in the rear which may become an issue depending on how deep of snow is common in your area.

  • AnswerQ: 03 outback  NabbyNormal 2 years ago

Do you know if these will fit on stock outback struts? If not, what would be my best option for lowering?

    • A: These springs would more than likely work on a 2003 Impreza Outback Sport, but we cannot guarantee compatibility. Eibach made them specifically for the WRX and RS sedan struts so the OBS struts may not be valved correctly for these springs. We currently do not carry any lowering springs that are confirmed to fit a 2003 Outback Sport.
