Set your Power Goals, and get the correct Fuel Pump!
Ryuneko Flat4LV 2 years ago
I just got back from tuning my car. My tuner says the bottleneck is the Catted Downpipe and the Fuel Pump.I was like, my fuel pump? But I have the DW300!? He says the Fuel pump is running at 65%, where normally, it should be at under 50%. So to pump out power for a 2009 WRX with a 20G, I was suggested to get a 400LPH. Currently, I'm getting 320HP (Flywheel) with this Fuel pump. I can go E85 and run this fuel pump at 85%, but he says, that's cutting it a little too high. Set your power goal, and get the correct Fuel Pump!

Installation is just like that of a Walbro 255LPH
Ryuneko Flat4LV 2 years ago
Installed a fuel pump for the first time. Took me nearly 4 hours to do because I was following step by step how to do it. I also had a Dremel with the Cable extension and a bit for grinding. I followed every step that the Walbro 255LPH installation tutorial told me to do. I reused the stock filter as the one it comes with does not fit. I replaced the o-rings with new 203 Viton O-Ring, 75A Durometer, Black, 5/16 ID, 9/16 OD, 1/8 Width (Pack of 25)from Amazon. You'll also need to put two o rings on the Fuel Pump that connects to the plastic piece. After putting everything back. I primed the pump about 5 times to make sure everything was good. I started my vehicle and everything went fine! I haven't gotten my Vehicle re-tuned yet, so I don't know how well this fuel pump performs in regards to tuning.

  • AnswerQ: WHP Range  Billy Shatty 7 months ago

What is the WHP range this pump can handle? I plan on being in the 600whp range on my 15 STI and wanted to know if this is good enough.

    • A: This 320lph pump will support up to approximately 700whp on pump gas.

it is this fuel pump fit 2014 gtr? oversized, how to make work??? it is anything like bracket hold the fuel pump tight??? i know this is universal part... but i still want to make work...

    • A: We have not confirmed this to work on the GT-R. Custom modification to make this unit fit may be required.

    • A: Hey Sky, We do have a compact 340LPH pump that RSD will have available very soon. I would recommend waiting for those to drop as they will be drop-in fitment for your GTR.

  • AnswerQ: Do I need this?   wsoghikian 1 year ago

I have 2013 WRX that is putting down around 320hp, should I have this pump, or can my stock one handle that?

    • A: Your stock pump should be able to support approximately 320hp and this pump will not be a direct fit on 2008+ WRX or STI models. If you need to upgrade your pump, then we recommend the DW65C that is specifically for your car.
